Mission: To recognize Caring Adults in the community, to raise awareness of the importance of Caring Adults and to increase their numbers so that more children and youth will have the opportunity to thrive and succeed
The Caring Adults Promise Team is dedicated to providing Brockton's youth with caring adults in their lives. Long-term adult relationships give children the support and guidance that they need in order to succeed. In particular, this team has focused on increasing the numbers of mentors and foster parents for Brockton youth. They have worked at creating awareness around the need for more Caring Adults, while also making sure to thank those adults that already serve in that role. If you are interested in promoting this mission, please attend our next monthly meeting on Thursday , October 9th 10:00 AM @ Community Connections of Brockton, 3 Main Street.
Information for Parents
It is important that parents support their child's relationship with a mentor. Mentors have specific roles in your child's life and act as a tool to help your children set and reach their goals.
